ABOUT CASCOTT DOGS

For as long as I can remember there have always been dogs in our family. Growing up I spent many hours in the paddock or on the waterway 'rough shooting'. It is in the 'field' that the value of a well bred, well trained Labrador Retriever is truly appreciated. It is here that natural instinct and work ethic intersect and bring great enjoyment to both dog and handler.

More recently I compete in the sport of Retrieving Trials. The selective breeding strategy utilized by Cascott kennels have produced a number of dogs who are competitive in this sport.

Our breeding program has introduced into Tasmania some of the best 'working line' genetics available throughout Australia, NZ and Europe.
