 is sanctioned by the Australian National Kennel Council as an approved canine discipline.

Tracking is when a dog is trained to follow a scent trail until it locates the person who has been leaving the clues and is hiding at trails end. 

​

 Scent work is when a dog is trained to locate and identify specific scents which have been hidden in a room.
